National Organic Grain and Feedstuffs: July 19

Whole Peeled, Unpeeled and Rolled Oats

Compared to two weeks ago, feed grade corn demand and activity moderate, with no comparable trades from the prior period. Feed grade soybean demand and activity moderate, trading 25 cents higher this period. Soybean meal and soybean oil trade moderate on good demand. Soybean meal traded slightly lower this period.

Trade activity and demand on feed wheat moderate. Forward Contracting active this period. Contracts for food grade Hard Red Winter Wheat were mostly 13.00/bu delivered, and Hard Red Spring 18.25 to 19.25 delivered. Few spot trades on feed oats, feed barley, and food rye. Few spot trades on organic blacks and navys. All other organic grain trade inactive.

Organic feeder cattle video/internet auction trade activity and demand very good.  No trend available due to lack of comparable trades. Due to ongoing inclement weather, buyers are unsure of crop yields on current crop corn and wheat.
