USDA Livestock, Poultry & Grain Market News – Compared to two weeks ago, grower bids on feed grade organic grains were steady, with instances of corn trading 0.75 lower. Feed grade corn demand moderate to good and traded slightly higher at mostly 7.50-8.50 FOB the farm.
Trade activity on feed soybeans was steady trading 0.03 lower than the prior period. The bulk of soybean meal movement was on forward contracts. Too little activity on trades for oats, rye, and barley to trend.
HRW feed wheat with no trend available due to lack of comparable trades. Forward contract activity on new crop organic grains very good, mostly on corn and soybeans, with limited contracting on soybean meal and oil. Organic hay trades too limited to trend. Trade activity on all other organic grains inactive.
