USDA – Compared to two weeks ago, trade activity moderate on good demand for feed grade corn, soybeans and wheat. Growers are cleaning up old crop supplies of feed grade corn as we approach new crop. Buyers are still looking for old crop supplies of feed grade soybeans and wheat.
Trade activity picking up on feed grade barley and rye with barley trading 6.80 – 7.25 delivered and ry trading 7.35 – 7.50 delivered. Demand good on feed grade wheat. Buyers are reporting protein levels higher than last year on lower yields.
Feed grade soybean meal traded 47.49 lower on light activity with forward contract activity at the 840.0 FOB level. Soybean oil mostly steady on light activity.
