National Organic Grain and Feedstuffs: November 7

USDA – Compared to two weeks ago, trade active on moderate demand for feed grade corn and soybeans with light activity on feed grade wheat. Trade inactive on all other organic grains.

Bids for feed corn steady to 50 cents lower as buyers take in new crop. Bids for feed grade soybeans steady. No current forward contract activity reported this period but end users are taking in spring contracted grains.

Areas that received excessive rainfall are reporting issues of aflatoxin in soybeans and some cases of vomitoxin in corn. Harvest yields are being reported as average to good.
