USDA – Compared with two weeks ago, trade activity and demand good on feed corn, soybeans and wheat. Growers are hesitant to sell feed grade corn as prices firming due to uncertainty of imported organic grains. Interest and trade activity picking up on feed grade wheat, barley and sorghum as end users are looking for ways to decrease feed input costs. Trade activity on all other organic grains too limited to trend.
Organic hay trade activity and demand moderate in the Western U.S.. Feed corn traded 30 cents higher FOB the farm. Feed soybeans traded 9 cents lower FOB the farm. No trend available on feed grade wheat due to a lack of comparable trades.
